Restaurant and Cafe Reviews in Edinburgh

We love eating out in Edinburgh so writing our Edinburgh restaurant reviews, takeaway reviews and cafe reviews was no great chore. Here's our review of Iggs Restuarant.

Review of Iggs Restuarant, Edinburgh

If you want classy, but un-intimidating, 'Iggs' is the restaurant for you. The innovative menu offers up classic Spanish tapas, re-interpreted with cunning little twists. We enjoyed delicious Presa Iberica – Iberico pork and caramelized belly, but for fish fans, seafood stew and paprika-spiced monkfish stand out. Not to mention scallop and pumpkin risotto. 'Boozy prunes' caught Itchy's eye – next time they will be caught by our fingers, so they will. The wine menu is worth a visit alone; the long and lovely list is hand-selected by the restaurant's eponymous Spanish owner, Iggy – and if you like what you sip, pop next door to his wine bar, Barioja.
