Review of Beluga Canteen Restaurant (closed), Edinburgh

Upstairs from the style bar of the same name, the Beluga Canteen offers an equally slick chrome and glass setting in which to sample some fantastic food. From the exotic Hoi Sin duck with Thai vegetables and spicy mash to the classic grilled halibut with spinach and mash in a sweet peppered sauce there plenty on offer and portions are anything but supermodel sized. Add to this the fact that you can simply roll down the stairs for drinks afterwards there's also a handy cash machine and you've got a spot on night out.
